International Institute for Energy Conservation is registered in India since June 2007 as a Section 25 Company under the Companies Act, 1956 and functions as a Not for Profit organization with it headquarter in New Delhi. IIEC-India also has 12-A and 80-G registration.
Since 2007, IIEC-India has been involved in design and implementation of programs covering a range of areas including climate change, sustainability, sustainable livelihoods, clean energy, air quality improvement, electric mobility, improving the access to energy, energy efficiency, demand side management and sustainable habitat. IIEC-India work with almost all the donor and international agencies having their presence in India. In addition, IIEC-India also work with Private Sector to support the implementation of programs under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
